OVERVIEW

The eldest child and only daughter of Pepa and Félix Madrigal, she was gifted with enhanced hearing.

PERSONALITY

Due to the nature of her gift, Dolores has a tendency to expose people's secrets even if she does not want to, such as when she told the village kids that her cousin, Mirabel, did not have a magical gift but was able to keep Bruno's presence a secret from their family while he was living among the walls of their home due to her general unease towards him. Because of her gift, Dolores also tends to be keep quiet and not express her thoughts and feelings, such as where she was unable to confess her love for Mariano due to his engagement to Isabela. Yet, when she was able to confess her feelings to Mariano and begin a relationship with him, Dolores was overjoyed, happy she was no longer able to keep her opinions and emotions to herself.

In addition, Dolores shared a close relationship with her family, sharing a typical sibling-like relationship with her younger brother Camilo where she has a tendency to be annoyed with her brother's mischief. She is also close to her cousin, Isabela whom she did not show any jealously towards for being their family's golden child and her engagement to Mariano. Dolores was even willing to lend Mirabel a helping hand in investigating the cause of the magic dying by telling her Luisa twitching her eyes all night. After the magic had died, causing Mirabel to run away, Dolores, despite no longer having her gift, was concerned for her younger cousin and helped look for her.

ABILITIES

Dolores has enhanced hearing; her ears are strong enough to hear even the quietest noise, such as the sound of a pin dropping, and even the sound of someone's eye twitching. Her hearing also works over great distances, she is able to receive messages from people all the way in town from Casa Madrigal, as seen when she reported Mariano's family coming for dinner. However, her gift's one drawback is that she apparently doesn't do well in noisy environments, as she was seen holding her hands over her ears as everyone else cheered for Antonio.
